The Derby for Mental Health

The Derby is Quebec’s first corporate fitness competition of its kind. Companies will have the opportunity to build the best team amongst its different stakeholders to represent them in this exciting fitnesss fundraiser.

How It Works

Corporation to nominate team

Each corporation can nominate a team to be part of the competition.
All company stakeholders can participate.

6-8 Athletes – Min. 2 Women and 2 Men + 1 coach (not mandatory)

Each team is allowed two substitutes one woman and one man. Each team is allowed a coach.

A minimum of $3,000 is required per team, with more donation expected as the excitement builds up.
A corporation may front the total donation on behalf of its participating team.

Baseline Fitness

There will be NO technical movements such as heavy lifting, gymnastics, or advanced technical athletics. A baseline level of fitness is required.

3 Workouts Over 3 Hours

The competition will consist of 3 workouts, which will take place at the end of the work day, over three-hours, 5-8.

Safety Above All

Workouts are designed with broadly accessible movements. Participants’ safety is our paramount priority. We take your safety seriously!

The teams that raise the most funds will be rewarded. Stay tuned for more details on the fundraising part of the competition.

This is all for mental health.
