Katerine has a degree in Public Communications from Université Laval. She worked as a press relations and communication specialist for more than 3 years for Gestev, a company specialised in organizing international sporting events, such as the Mountain Bike World Championship, the Snowboard World Cup and the Red Bull Crashed Ice.
After moving to Montreal a few years ago, she became specialized in media relations as a public relations advisor for Kilicom Relations Publiques. She manages a wide range of projects for the agency, including for clients in food, science, community services and special events. She also freelances in event organization, community management and translation.
Katerine loves to travel. In addition to spending more than a year in Australia, she’s visited many countries in Asia, Europe, Central America and South America. In 2015, she biked across Canada, from Vancouver to Montreal, to raise money for the Mental Illness Foundation. This trip was featured in multiple media outlets across the country and raised over $7,000 for the Foundation. The main goal of this adventure was to talk about mental illness and to break the stigma around them. It’s also why she’s getting involved in Let’s Bond this year.
